Find Me On
I am a media designer and my activities consist on designing and developing (mainly) web based applications such as websites, graphical interfaces and interactive data visualizations.
I consider that my task is to find creative ways of giving life to information in such a way that it can easily be understood and explored by users. I particularly enjoy translating data into graphics.
Because my background is geodesy, I have affinity with geographical information and a special interest in redefining geography by merging data with maps instead of superimposing data to maps.
In my work I frequently combine (and even mix) design and development, I believe the most interesting products are the result of an iterative process where design influences technique and technique influences design.
