In its data on government requests, Google discloses petitions from government agencies and courts around the world who ask for information to be removed citing reasons like as defamation, electoral law, or government criticism. The data in the report includes requests made across all of Google’s services (e.g., Search, YouTube).
In its data on copyright requests, Google discloses petitions from copyright owners and reporting organizations who ask that information be removed from Google’s services that allegedly infringes on copyright material. Data is only available for removal requests on Google Search. For the copyright data, Google has provided a schema of how the 3 CSVs are related. The table structure of the data is best imported into a SQL database.
