The War on Drug Communities

The War on Drug Communities

Colombia and Afghanistan are two of the poorest and most violence-stricken places in the world - making them ideal prey for drug lords. Poor farmers are roped into the unstable, illegal life of drug crop farming with promises of wealth and protection. Unfortunately, growing coca or opium poppies will give them anything but.

In order to finally end the War on Drugs, we need to attack the drug problem at its two pain points - by providing economic alternatives to poor laborers in developing nations, and drug treatment and education in developed nations.
