Data alone do not make for engaging storytelling. However, coupled with robust visuals and put into context, data can be powerful. That’s the recipe JESS3 utilized in this two-minute animation about the state of education today. With the “active learner” as our narrator, we took the viewer on a journey through the evolving educational landscape. From the traditional schoolhouse model to the on-demand learning model, we showed the numeric trends that were driving this evolution -- financial, technological and geographical -- and what it means for all educational stakeholders.
