UN Global Pulse 2010
Web interactive visualization of the UN Global Pulse mobile survey:
The visualization aims at introducing the subjective data through objective visual systems, thus allowing analysis of both the situation in the countries and the data collection method itself.
Visualizing all five questions, divided on objective and subjective layers, provides the means for more in depth observations and conclusions, as often times a situation which is initially perceived as better is later on described as much worse, or vice versa. In addition, the general perceptions and feelings are presented in a "Data Summary," which highlights the benefits and uniqueness of the mobile phone based data collection method.
