Rain Red Tide

Rain Red Tide

This is a moving video piece created on TACC's 75-monitor tiled-display. It is an artistic visualization of how rain moves over the ground, into the watersheds and enters the ocean causing larger and larger hypoxic zones, areas without enough oxygen for the marine life to survive. The work was created at the ACES Visualization Lab, Texas Advanced Computing Center, University of Texas at Austin.
