The personal fabric of global crisis:
Weaving individual stories into national snapshots

Our goal is to provide an equally-immediate reflection of the attitudes in each of these countries, using the Global Pulse's data. You'll see a patchwork of lines that weaves together how individuals feel about the changing economic situation in their country with how difficult it is for these individuals to meet their needs. Each line is an individual, and each cluster is a shared feeling.

These shared feelings reveal country-wide trends. In some countries, respondents generally feel that the economic situation is improving, but that meeting their needs is increasingly difficult. In other counties, most respondents feel that meeting their needs is easier, despite worsening economic conditions. What might these clusters and trends say about the feeling in each country?
