Meningitis Outbreak in the United States from August 8th β€” November 8th

n October 2012, an outbreak of fungal meningitis was reported in the United States. Due to polluted vials about 1400 people were infected by epidural
injections with a remedy that was supposed to relieve
them from backpain. In investigations held by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) fungal contamination was found in three lots of
medication manufactured by the New England Compounding Center (NECC).
How do media, government and the corporation responsible take action in relation to infections and death?
