LAUNCH PROJECT. This project plots the average education level and per capita income for U.S. zipcodes. The data for each zipcode is broken down by race, four of which are presented here. Though all the data is available, a random subset of zipcodes are retrieved for each plot (including the one you enter below) — drawing more would take a long time and probably crash your browser. Data comes from the 2000 Census Sample Data (a sampling of about 1 in 6 households), since this is not yet available for 2010.
