Going Underground - London Tube network passengers per year (Circle Line)

Going Underground - London Tube network passengers per year (Circle Line)

I have had this image in mind for some time - it is a map of the underground, adapted to show how busy each station is throughout the year through the thickness of the line. I think that this is a good way of visually communicating the amount of people present at each station throughout the year; almost like a swarm of commuters in a queue for the platform at each station.

I will be tackling one line at a time, before combining all the results to finally end up with a completed tube map; first up is the Circle Line (the yellow one).

The annual entry/exit figures for the Circle Line stations in 2011 (or closest available statistic) range from 1.49 million (Goldhawk Road) to 82.25 million (Victoria).
