Africa's population growth From 0 AD to 2050 AD Combined Maddison and United Nations data

A spiral bubble comparison graph charting the rapid growth of Africa's population over the past 2000 years and up to 2050. The size of the green bubbles indicates the relative size of Africa's population on the given date as well as the estimated number of people. The bubble spiral out from the centre as though on a time line starting from 0 AD.

Everything within the blue area was derived using United Nations data and every thing in the inner white circle was derived from Angus Maddison's data.
